In 2007 almost half the membership of the Cloughjordan eco-village project decided to leave the project. They followed in the footsteps of many others who, over the years, had invested their time and dreams in the project but ultimately decided not to proceed.

They made their decisions for a variety of reasons and for many it was a tough and painful choice to make. Most, if not all of them also had to make a financial sacrifice as the project's board of directors decided to retain part of the deposit they had invested.

This website has been created to address the communications needs of these former Village members. Its a point of contact, a space to meet and stay in touch. Its a place to discuss our experiences, our thoughts and our plans.

If you were once part of this exciting project and would like to join our group, we would love to have you on board. Click here to join.
